The fourth round draw for the 2017/18 FA Cup will take place on Monday evening.
With the third round stage kicking off on Friday evening with matches between Liverpool v Everton and Manchester United v Derby County, and fixtures set for Saturday and Sunday, the clubs through to the fourth round draw will be known by the time the Brighton v Crystal Palace match on Monday evening comes to a close.
The fourth round draw itself will take place ahead of that kick off on Monday January 8, and it will take place simultaneously on BT Sport and BBC Two with programmes commencing at 7pm approximately.
The third round stage of course sees this year’s banana skins decided for lower league clubs adding the Premier League and Championship scalps to their successes and with an all professional affair this year with no non league clubs involved, the third round gives plenty of opportunities for shock results to happen.
Ball numbers for the draw will no doubt be allocated over the weekend, and the draw will no doubt be subject to replays if applicable but it’ll be interesting to see who gets the so called ‘plum ties’ at this time of asking.
Fourth round ties are set for the weekend of January 26-29
Let’s see whose FA Cup dream continues…
