Notts County have confirmed that the lads will be travelling to Finland as they gear up for the coming season.

The tour will last 10 days and we will play three games over that period as well as having an intensive training camp set up.

The teams we will face are Palloseura Kemi Kings, Tervarit Dream Team and our final game will be against Finnish top flight and 2012-13 Europa League side JJK.

First team coach Andy Watson attended the facilities last month and told the Official Site he thought they were top notch and it would be the ideal preparation for us.

‘The pitches and the facilities are good and it will give us a good base for the tour. It will be an ideal place for the lads to train with a gymnasium on site, beach nearby and places where we can do cross country runs to get that fitness up.’

He adds that our friendlies will be tough because the Finnish season has already begun so we will be facing sides who are already match fit.

The games are set for.

July 4 – Palloseura Kemi Kings (in Kemi), kick off 6.30pm local
July 7 – Tervarit Dream Team (in Oulu), kick off 3pm local
July 10 – JJK Jyvaskyla (in Jyvaskyla), kick off 6.30 local
