The Care About Notts group have claimed that they have lined up £600,000 in investment.

A news item on the Care About Notts website claims that £600,000 has been pledged as investment in the Magpies from local companies and individuals.

The investment however is subject to certain conditions. The CAN group are claiming that some sponsorship may be pulled over the next couple of seasons if current Chairman John Armstrong-Holmes and Director Eric Kerry remain on the Club Board.

A CAN Spokesperson says on their website ‘This is a significant amount of income and support for the Club which can only be protected if there is real change on the Club Board. It’s money and good-will the Club simply cannot afford to lose this in these very difficult economic times.’

Supporters’ Trust members are reminded that the forthcoming Trust Special General Meeting on Tuesday 28th February is a very important meeting and Vitals urges members to attend and use their vote.

as long as they dont waste it on getting new desks for the chairman and directors and a fish bowl. It is too late to do anything useful with it, but a new injecytion of good players in the summer is a must.
