New chief operating officer Luke Negus-Hill has said that he’s very confident that Notts County will be well placed to bounce back from relegation at the first time of asking in 2015-16.

Speaking to the Official Site following his appointment to the role which sees him assist chief executive Aileen Trew, he said from what he’s seen so far and the plans we have still to put in place, he feels we can push for promotion from the outset of the season.

‘I`ve worked with a lot of the staff previously and obviously worked with the board a long time. I`m looking forward to working really hard over the summer. I`m really excited for the opportunity for myself, but also for the club. There`s a lot to do, but we are all confident.’

He went on to say.

‘Having run the Ladies side and a number of other businesses, I have that knowledge to help the club and bring some positivity to the club. A winning mentality is everything. We need success and that mentality has to happen across all departments and of course the supporters. We will be looking to boost morale and get the office united and working with partners, sponsors and generating funds for this club, that will help breed success out on the pitch.’
