The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Stevenage and Notts County this Saturday.

Match Day referee Joyce has officiated 16 games in 2017/18, showing 64 yellow cards and one red card already.

He took in 44 games in 2016/17 with a return of 182 yellow cards and 12 red cards.

His highest card count that year was eight yellows and one red in the game between Carlisle United and Exeter City.

He took in 29 matches in 2015/16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 106 yellow cards and six red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Gillingham and Port Vale in April where he showed eight yellow cards. Prior to that in the Mansfield and Wimbledon game in September he showed seven yellows and one red.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
