In a bid to push for promotion next term Vitals has been informed that County manager Ian McParland has been in touch with Man City regarding the availability of unsettled Brazilian star Robinho.

With Man City tracking a number of possible replacements Robinho could well become surplus to requirements at the City of Manchester Stadium and it is understood that McParland maybe ready to make a move.

This would certainly strengthen the squad and put a few more on the gate for next season. Vital Notts Towers will monitor the situation closely and our counterparts at Man City have agreed to let us hear Robinho’s comments as soon as they can get in touch with him.

You hear it here first!

Perhaps getting Robinho on a free, with Elano and Zabaleta and nominal fees for Micah Richards and Dunney. Joe Hart Citys second keeper was reported to say that his ambition was to play for County, his boyhood team. Mourinho is leaving his current post and is also heading for Nottingham.
