With a winding-up petition from HM Revenue and Customs having been served on the Club the players must be looking over their shoulders.

The debts which are said to total £1.5m and an outstanding tax bill due at the end of the month means that Chairman Peter Trembling has to sort out some form of investment in the coming weeks.

The young Danish shot stopper has been talking to the Nottingham Evening Post and says he is not currently worried about the perilous financial situation at Meadow Lane.

He told the NEP ‘The day they come and tell me, ‘we don’t want you’, I’ll have to look at it but until that happens then I’m a Notts County player and there’s nothing else to say.’

BUT and a big BUT, will the star players have to be sold to pay the Revenue bill? With the January window currently open any offer for the young keeper and other players such as Lee Hughes would surely have to be considered.

If they were to go, where would that leave the dream of the Premiership in 5 years. Would Sven stay?

Questions, questions and not many answers! Come on Peter give us some good news and make it soon!
