Sheehan Clarifies Media Comments

Alan Sheehan refused to answer questions about his future following the loss to Yeovil, leaving some to draw their own conclusions.

Speaking to the Official Site the left back confirmed.

‘As far as I’m concerned, I’m a Notts County player until I’m told otherwise. I’ve enjoyed my two years with the club and I don’t deem it suitable to be commenting on a future away from Meadow Lane when I may have one here. We want to finish as high as possible and we hope the fans will get behind us as we look to build some momentum for the new season.’

With the player out of contract in the summer, and already showing his frustration at our last result, it probably wasn’t the best time to ask him about his future anyway.
