Sheehan – Frustrated Isn’t The Word

Alan Sheehan admitted that County were far past ‘frustrated’ with the Yeovil loss on Monday.

Speaking to the Official Site following the 2-1 loss, Sheehan couldn’t not notice our missed opportunities to take all three points in the game again.

‘It was the same story and a frustrating day. Playing football on a mud pitch doesn’t really suit our game and teams are coming here and scoring more goals than us – that’s the best way I can put it. We lacked that cutting edge, box to box we’re a good team but it’s just that killer edge of actually winning the game.’

Sheehan adds he isn’t using the pitch as an excuse because the same conditions apply to both teams, but come the end of the season performances won’t matter, points on the board will.
