Left back Alan Sheehan has today signed a new two year contract at Bradford, leaving us as a free agent following the expiry of his contract.

Our Player of the Year last season, played 44 times and was impressive under new manager Shaun Derry, also filling in at centre half when required and also scoring seven goals.

Despite being offered a new deal at Meadow Lane, the 27 year old has opted to run down his contract and leave us for Bradford after making 126 appearances in total (10 goals) since joining us from Swindon Town back in 2011.
