Notts County went down 2-1 at home to Leyton Orient on Saturday even though they were given a golden chance of a point right at the death which they couldn`t take.

Lee Butcher in the Orient goal made himself a bit of a hero though when he saved Lee Hughes` stoppage time penalty.

And the first goal for Orient came about because Hughes made a bit of a gaff. Just as half time was approaching, he lost the ball on the edge of the area and Dawson chipped the ball over Nelson in the County goal.

Then after a much better second half from County, they suffered again with five minutes left on the clock. Mike Edwards made the error this time, letting in Adam Mooney who in turn found Jonathan Tehouse and he did the rest, 2-0.

But this time County hit straight back through Lee Hughes who was set up by Jeff Hughes.

And in the 3rd minute of stoppage time Leon Sweeney fouled Jeff Hughes in the box, the ref pointed to the spot and the Orient player was given his marching orders.

Butcher guessed the right way and County ended up with nothing.
