JCR – We Didn’t Get The Rub Of The Green

Jamal Campbell-Ryce has said that decisions simply didn’t go our way in the 3-1 loss to Bournemouth.

Speaking to the Official Site the player said the squad shouldn’t get too down about the result because of the manner in which it came, and we must now put it behind us and focus on the next match and make our chances count.

‘That’s part and parcel of football, sometimes it goes for you and sometimes it don’t. They got the rub of the green, a handball and, yes, it’s frustrating when you’re out there it’s life, isn’t it. With 10 men the lads showed great character and that’s what we’ve said in the changing room. We stuck together and worked hard as a team, we could’ve nicked one or two, but it wasn’t meant to be.’
