After getting his first point on the board as caretaker manager against Crewe, Kiwomya has said he would still like the chance to have a crack at the job on a permanent basis.

Speaking to the Nottingham Post Chris said he would fully understand if the club asked him to go back to his role as development coach, but he’s hoping he can remain in charge long enough to prove his worth.

‘I’ve come in and I’m enjoying what I’m doing so far, I’m just glad to get a first point for the club. It should have been three. I thought the players worked hard for me, it’s a game to game basis and I’m happy with that until they make a decision.’

It’s believed that the majority of the players also want Chris to remain at the club so we can finally have some managerial stability to actually push forward.
