Notts County midfielder Ricky Ravenhill has been ruled out of action for two weeks after suffering from concussion.
The 30-year-old had to be taken off the field on a stretcher during the win over Tranmere Rovers on Tuesday after he was knocked out in a collision.
Magpies boss Martin Allen told the BBC: ‘In the level of concussions, in simple terms – level of one to 10 – he’s up there at about an eight.
‘I didn’t like seeing my player like that.
Allen added: ‘Just thank God he’s OK as a human being and as a dad and a husband. That’s the most important thing to me.
‘That’s more important than being a footballer or a football manager or trying to win a game of football.’
