Manager Shaun Derry and assistant gaffer Greg Abbott have both signed new contracts keeping them at the club until the end of the 2015-16 season.
Having arrived at the club in November 2013 with us bottom of League One, under their leadership we went on to avoid relegation last season and we’ve made fantastic progress on and off the pitch since then, culminating in a very solid start to this campaign.
Speaking to the Official Site as the news was announced, chief executive officer Jim Rodwell said.
‘We have been delighted with the hard work that both Shaun and Greg have done so far since arriving. To achieve a turnaround as part of the Great Escape was remarkable, and it’s now their target to build on that this season. We have of course started well and there have been some fantastic signs for the long term future here at Notts.’
